Split EPWith just under two minutes covering six tracks (three each from The Domestics and Pizzatramp), Disciplinecould be described as a concept record, a totally stupid record? a disciplined record? Or maybe all three (this description was borrowed from TNS Records PR!)

Discipline matches East Anglian hardcore thrashers, The Domestics with everyone’s favourite Welsh punkers, Pizzatramp for an insane blast of fast, hardcore punk. The bands were challenged to fit their short songs onto 5” vinyl and each lay down fifty-seven seconds spanning the three songs.

The Domestics start the chaos with F*ckin’ Die, a massively fast Discharge on steroids like track with rumbling bass, duelling lyrics for twenty-four seconds of pure mayhem and then A Quiet Lifeblends the vocalists for a chunky punk rocker before the few seconds of Shopping just left me breathless…good fun, tight as f*ck playing and raw as hell.

Pizzatramp deliver their song titles in ‘Caps Lock’ beginning with the elegantly {ahem} titled

I WENT ON A DOUBLE FUNDED KICKSTARTER HOLIDAY TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND ALL I BROUGHT BACK WAS THIS SHITTY F*CKING ALBUMwhere the screamed vocals accompany the fast as hell music before I’D DO NORMAL THINGS AND HAVE NORMAL HOBBIES LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE BUT IT’S ALL JUST SO F*CKING BORING is a grinding sludge core effort and then I’VE GOT NEARLY AS MANY HOLES IN MY BRAIN AS I’VE GOT IN MY FAVOURITE SOCKSreturns to full on 500mph punk rock.

Fun stuff and bloody exciting!
